Job SummaryA Private Advisor team within our Rockefeller Global Family Office business is seeking a motivated individual to join its growing team as a Client Associate. The Client Associate will work with our Private Advisor team members and will interact directly with high-net-worth clients.
Key Responsibilities- Client Onboarding and Maintenance: Ensure seamless account opening and maintenance processes for high-net-worth clients.
- Asset Transfers and Cash Management: Efficiently transfer assets and manage cash movements for clients.
- Investment Subscription Documents: Complete investment subscription documents and ensure timely processing.
- Cash Management and RMDs: Manage cash and Required Minimum Distributions (RMDs) for clients.
- Client Online Access: Assist clients with online access and ensure smooth navigation.
- Account Activity and Statement Inquiries: Respond to client inquiries regarding account activity and statements.
- Life Events: Manage life events, such as births, deaths, and marriages, for clients.
- Administrative Support: Provide administrative support to the team as needed.
- Client Service: Deliver top-quality service to clients and complete administration of client accounts.
- Operational Support: Handle operational aspects of client accounts, including reporting on account holdings and investment performance, posting daily cash activity, and entering trade instructions.
- Expense Reports: Generate expense reports for submission using Concur.
- Account Maintenance: Process new accounts and account maintenance, ensuring all necessary approvals and client documentation are in place.
- Cashiering Requests: Process client cashiering requests, including money market redemptions, wires, checks, journals, and check deposits.
- Marketing Support: Support marketing efforts by promoting client seminars and events.
- Office Management: Offer administrative and office management support to the team.
- Client Correspondence: Prepare client correspondence, obtain necessary management approvals, and transmit.
- Account Reconciliation: Review daily activity and reconcile current client activity, funds transfers, and previous days' activity and trades against various clearing firm systems to ensure accuracy.
- Client Insurance and Annuities: Oversee client insurance and annuities processes.
- Document Preparation: Assist in preparation of key documents, PowerPoint presentations, and reports for client meetings.
- Client Meetings: Attend client meetings as necessary and present client performance.
- Filing and Record-Keeping: Complete necessary filing and maintain client files.
- Compliance and Training: Attend compliance and continuing education training sessions as required by regulatory agencies and the firm.
- Experience: 1-3 years prior client service experience within the financial industry, or equivalent experience.
- Education: BA/BS degree.
- Professional Certifications: Series 7 & 66 strongly preferred, and if not, willing to obtain.
