Job Responsibilities

As a Diesel Truck and/or Trailer Technician, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Electronic System Diagnostics and Repair: Troubleshoot and repair complex electronic systems, ensuring seamless operation of vehicles.
  • Air Brake System Diagnosis and Repair: Diagnose and repair air brake systems, maintaining vehicle safety and compliance.
  • Engine, Transmission, Differential, and Drivetrain Diagnostic and Repair: Conduct thorough diagnoses and repairs of engine, transmission, differential, and drivetrain components, ensuring optimal vehicle performance.
  • HVAC System Diagnostic and Repair: Identify and repair issues with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, maintaining a comfortable working environment.
  • Complete Trailer Repair from Top to Bottom: Perform comprehensive repairs on trailers, including roofs, side panels, floors, and roll-up doors.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid driver's license.
  • Experience repairing roll-up doors, swing doors, roofs, side panels, and floors.
  • Proficiency in MIG, TIG, or stick welding.
  • Ability to operate a manual transmission vehicle.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
