Customer Service Representative

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Customer Service Representative to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting a customer and product-focused sales culture where core principles are at the forefront of all store operations.
This includes performing various sales operations functions, including merchandise handling, stock processing, and stockroom organization. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and have a strong understanding of visual merchandising and product placement techniques.
The estimated salary for this position is $18.50-$22.00 per hour, based on the location and qualifications. Chico's FAS, Inc. offers a competitive compensation package, as well as opportunities for growth and development.
The job description can be broken down into several key areas:
Operational Excellence
- Processes merchandise, ensuring items are properly stored, ticketed, and easily located for replenishment for the sales floor.
- Ensures new products are properly merchandised and represented in a timely manner.
- Correctly enters all receiving documents into the computer system, reconciles merchandise invoices to items received as applicable.
- Acknowledges cash supply needs and assists with pricing changes and markdowns.
Customer Experience
- Models, supports, and promotes the Most Amazing Personal Service (MAPS) principles and standards, offering a cohesive omni-channel experience.
- Provides exceptional customer service, answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
Teamwork and Growth
- Promotes an inclusive, collaborative approach to problem-solving.
- Seeks personal developmental opportunities and solicits feedback from colleagues and management.
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous stock or cashier experience preferred.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to learn or adapt to technology provided by the company.
