Job Summary

The Sleep Technician position at Columbus Regional Health is an exciting opportunity for individuals interested in sleep technology. As a Sleep Technician, you will be responsible for providing patient diagnostic testing using various techniques and instruments to record electrical brain activity, neuromuscular activity, eye movement, blood oxygen, heart rhythm, breathing patterns, and limb movements to secure quality patient recordings.

Responsibilities

Conduct sleep studies using various techniques and instruments
Record electrical brain activity, neuromuscular activity, eye movement, blood oxygen, heart rhythm, breathing patterns, and limb movements
Provide patient care and support during sleep studies
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient data

Requirements

Successful completion of a sleep technology program associated with a state licensed and/or a national accredited education facility
A minimum of six months of sleep experience, as a sleep trainee or technician
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire

Benefits

This position is eligible for a Weekend Option (WEO) premium, which is paid for hours worked between Friday at 3pm and Monday at 7:30am. Our WEO premium is paid at 44% of your calculated base rate plus applicable shift differentials. With at least 16 hours per week, this position is benefit eligible.

Work Schedule

This position will require you to work 2-12 hour night shifts and 1 hour night shift; 34 weekly hours a week, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
