The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a skilled Gastroenterologist to join our team at the VA Medical Center. As a Gastroenterologist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting clinical duties, and participating in administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care that is compassionate, appropriate, and effective for the promotion of health, prevention of illness, treatment of disease, and care at the end of life.
  • Participate in inpatient and consult services during off-tours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of established and evolving biomedical, clinical, and social sciences, and apply this knowledge to patient care and education.
  • Use scientific evidence and methods to investigate, evaluate, and improve patient care.
  • Demonstrate interpersonal and communication skills that enable you to establish and maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and other members of the healthcare team.
  • Participate in continuous professional development, ethical practice, and understanding and sensitivity to diversity.
  • Apply knowledge of the contexts and systems in which healthcare is provided to improve and optimize healthcare.

This position offers a competitive salary, annual performance bonus, regular salary increases, and a comprehensive benefits package, including paid time off, retirement, and insurance.
