Job Overview

The West Central Arkansas Workforce Development Area is seeking a skilled Case Manager to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in coordinating services for adults with developmental disabilities, ensuring they receive the necessary support and care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate new admissions, including assessments, goal setting, prescription tracking, and progress reports.
  • Assess referrals, determine eligibility, and obtain necessary documents.
  • Maintain consumer files according to DDS/Medicaid standards and report any changes or updates.
  • Conduct Career Counseling sessions per WIOA guidelines.
  • Adhere to DOL guidelines, specifically Section 14c.
Requirements

We are looking for an individual with:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Services, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience working with persons with disabilities.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with families, caregivers, and agencies.
  • Familiarity with DHS, DDS, Medicaid, DOL, and WIOA standards.
