Industrial Automation Consultant

**Seeking a candidate with Honeywell experience**

Overview:

As an Industrial Automation Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in deploying tailored automation solutions across diverse sectors while ensuring the integrity and safety of control systems that govern industrial operations. This position necessitates collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams to optimize control systems, enhancing performance, dependability, and safety.

The Industrial Automation Consultant will engage with clients and suppliers to execute project tasks within the defined scope, aligning with the overarching project objectives. This role demands specialized technical expertise and adherence to programming best practices. You will represent the company with excellence while implementing automated solutions that facilitate the successful delivery of various projects at client locations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engineering services related to projects, including management, estimation, control system design & programming, documentation, and commissioning.
• Provide technical guidance and influence engineering project decisions.
• Lead the design and execution of intricate projects.
• Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) capable of programming on both PLC and DCS platforms, including but not limited to ABB System 800xA, Rockwell ControlLogix / PlantPAx, and Emerson DeltaV.
• Serve as the technical liaison between clients and Global Process Automation LLC to address inquiries and offer expert advice.
• Offer technical and maintenance support for existing control systems at client facilities.
• Assist the sales team with technical support.
• Travel to client sites for project assessments and implementation as necessary.
• Stay informed about industry advancements and emerging automation technologies.
• Evaluate project requirements, propose solutions, and assist in resource planning.

• PLC Platforms:
  1. Allen Bradley PLCs (PLC/5, Logix families)
  2. Siemens PLCs
  3. GE Fanuc PLCs
• HMI Platforms:
  1. Allen Bradley HMIs (Panelview, FactoryTalk View ME/SE)
  2. Siemens HMIs (WinCC)
  3. Wonderware InTouch / Archestra
  4. Ignition by Inductive Automation
• DCS Platforms:
  1. ABB 800xA
  2. Rockwell PlantPAx
  3. Emerson DeltaV
  4. Honeywell Experion

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in the field.
• Ability to interpret electrical control panel drawings, schematics, P&IDs, and other engineering documents.
• Experience in designing and implementing industrial automation systems.
• Project management and leadership capabilities.
• Strong communication skills.
• A collaborative mindset.
• Ability to serve as a learning or training resource.
• Comprehensive understanding of the role and its responsibilities.
• Proven ability to perform duties with minimal supervision.
• Educational background in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or a related discipline.
