Job Summary

As an Insulation Installer with Jay Henges, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the energy efficiency and comfort of our clients' buildings. Your primary responsibility will be to install insulation materials in various structures, using a range of techniques and tools to achieve optimal results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and interpret blueprints to select the most suitable insulation materials for each project.
  • Measure and cut insulation materials to fit specific surfaces, using precision tools and equipment.
  • Cover and line structures with blown or rolled insulation materials, ensuring a tight seal and optimal thermal performance.
  • Familiarize yourself with various insulation materials, including batts, rolls, sprays, and blown-in insulation.
  • Work safely and efficiently, adhering to all manufacturer guidelines and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless project execution and high-quality results.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and tools.
  • Ability to use installing equipment, machines, and programs to meet specifications.
  • OSHA 10 Certification and a valid Class E Driver's License.
  • Ability to lift up to 75lbs and continuously lift between 25-50lbs.
  • Manual dexterity and strength in handling, installing, and positioning materials.
Working Conditions

As an Insulation Installer, you will work in a fast-paced environment with varying temperatures and weather conditions. You will be required to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and manipulate materials in a safe and efficient manner.
