What does a Technician do?

  • Thoroughly clean the interior and exterior of vehicles, including waxing, leather conditioning, vacuuming, and carpet shampooing.
  • Conduct basic lube services, such as oil and filter changes, fluid top-ups, and tire rotations, adhering to manufacturer's specifications and established guidelines.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, explaining services performed, and recommending additional maintenance or detailing options when necessary.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to car washing, detailing, and lube services.
  • Assist with other automotive service tasks as needed or assigned.

Must Haves:

  • Must be 18 years of age with a valid driver's license and the ability to drive.
  • Self-directed with a high level of energy.
  • Interested in accuracy and doing what is right.
  • Be a team player, hardworking, and honest.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Basic computer and math skills, tech-savvy with a smartphone.
  • Must be comfortable with working outside in occasionally hot, cold, or dirty conditions.
  • Must be able to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and move inventory items and other work-related items (up to 50 lbs.).

Nice to Haves:

  • Oil Change and Tire Experience.
  • Customer service experience.
  • Fleet experience (rental cars, trucks, etc.).

Working Conditions:

This job will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, dust/dirt, and exhaust fumes.

Physical Demands:

  • Must be able to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift and move inventory items and other work-related items (up to 50 pounds).
  • Must be able to work at a rapid pace for long periods.
  • Must be able to push, pull, bend at the knees and waist, lift, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn head-neck-shoulders as needed, climb steps, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands, all of this for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the day.
