Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled Logistics Operations Specialist - Warehouse Coordinator to join our team at Magna Powertrain. As a key member of our warehouse operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of materials and finished goods.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and verify material shipments, update records as needed in CMS, and report any discrepancies.
- Track and report inventory levels in all locations, including suppliers, WIP, and finished goods.
- Unload and verify customer dunnage, store in designated areas, and ensure accurate counts.
- Load trucks according to shipping needs, ensure correct parts are placed on the right trucks, and utilize bar code scanners for shipments.
- Organize finished goods and work-in-process parts to maintain a FIFO inventory system.
- Perform cycle counts as needed and report inventory differences.
- Ensure stock is moved safely and efficiently to support cycle counts.
- Maintain professional and cooperative communication with all employees, treat coworkers with dignity and respect, and comply with ISO/14001 responsibilities.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Hi-lo driver in a manufacturing warehouse environment.
- Ability to follow MIOSHA safety requirements and excellent forklift skills.
- MAFACT Basic Training, Basic Knowledge in JATCO Specific Requirements; Ford Specific Requirements; GM Specific Requirements.
- Demonstrates creativity, initiative, and problem-solving skills, and ability to work overtime as required.
- Excellent attendance and performance record, and demonstrates Core Values.

$55,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
