Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing incoming phone calls, preparing and coordinating written communication with families, residents, and staff, and supervising the lobby. They will also be responsible for inputting data using Microsoft Office Suite, performing typing and other related duties as required, and answering the telephone. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  1. Directs incoming phone calls and serves as the primary receptionist for Fleet Landing
  2. Greets visitors and vendors and provides directions to specific destinations within the Health Center and the entire community of Fleet Landing
  3. Receives and sorts package deliveries and mail for both residents and administrative staff and delivers it to the appropriate location
  4. Updates the Health Center Resident Suite List with new residents and discharges, as necessary, and distributes it via email
  5. Assists in marketing mail-outs by typing letters, labels, envelopes, etc. Also prepares mail-outs for stamping and mailing
  6. Generates care plan letters via Microsoft Office and Word and mails/emails them to families on a continuous basis
  7. Creates and coordinates written communication with residents and families such as flyers, postcards, and letters
  8. Provides marketing tours of the Health Center when necessary
  9. Assists residents and administrative assistants with resident trust account needs

Requirements

We are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will have previous experience creating and maintaining Excel spreadsheets and graphs, Word documents, and Microsoft Outlook. They will also have experience with phone systems and web-based documents/forms. A high school, business school, or equivalent education is required.
