Airport Leadership and Operations Director

The Airport Operations Manager plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of airport activities. As a leader, you will direct frontline employees, including CSAs, CXAs, Flex Reps, VSAs, or other non-exempt staff members, to achieve maximum performance through superior operational leadership and strong communication.
This position requires overall leadership to non-exempt employees, with responsibility for operating performance, customer satisfaction, employee culture, safety, service, budgets, and vendor relations. The successful candidate will lead a brand or function and all brands, depending on the location's size.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations, fleet availability, and revenue generation for assigned functions
- Lead processes to meet and exceed customer expectations, ensuring alignment of sales forces with established methods and processes
- Resolve customer issues, providing a positive experience
- Drive sales processes to create a dynamic, customer-focused zone commercial organization focused on selling value-added solutions
- Champion productivity improvements via employee involvement and accountability; ensure employees follow Standards of Work
- Engage in effective communication plans to build employee engagement and achieve business results
- Conduct timely and constructive performance evaluations, where applicable
- Manage airport locations/geographic areas when the General Manager is absent
- Participate in recruiting processes as required
- Provide management with updates and indicators as requested
- Maintain current knowledge on administrative duties according to company policy
Educational Requirements:
A High School Diploma is mandatory, while a Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
Experience and Skills:
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of prior experience in customer service or operations, aligning with specific job duties. Experience in car rental, hospitality, or tourism is an advantage.
Candidates should possess excellent communication techniques, people management and leadership capabilities, sales management/coaching abilities, and operations management skills.
