Responsibilities

• Gain practical experience from audiologists in comprehensive evaluations, patient engagement, and solution-oriented education.
• Virtually connect with externs nationwide, building a supportive network for structured encouragement.
• Participate in monthly manufacturer-lead workshops or meet one-on-one with trainers for individualized learning.
• Utilize top-of-the-line hearing technology from leading manufacturers to tailor solutions for patients.

Requirements

• Learn from preceptors and ask questions.
• Comprehensive testing in allotted time.
• Appointment documentation.
• Lead selection, fitting, follow-up, and service appointments.
• Ordering/servicing hearing aids.
• Earmold impressions.
• Conduct follow-up calls with patients.
• Participate in clinic/company meetings.
• Meet monthly clinic goals.
• Contribute to office cleanliness.
• Any task beneficial to your clinic.
