SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this role ranges from $57,348 to $94,496, depending on previous work experience.
Job DescriptionThis Cath Lab CV Rad Technologist position requires a highly skilled technologist to prepare equipment for cardiovascular procedures, ensuring a sterile environment and providing excellent patient care. The successful candidate will collaborate with a team of cardiologists and participate in the orientation of new staff.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and maintenance of equipment before and during procedures
- Assessment and preparation of patient conditions
- Establishment and maintenance of a sterile environment
- Professional practice and precepting of new hires and radiology students
- Completion of a 24-month formal program or military program in Radiologic Technology
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist eligibility and/or current RCIS certification
- Previous Procedural Area experience preferred
- Basic Life Support training required during orientation
- Current Basic Life Support and ACLS certifications maintained throughout employment
