Part Time Retail Merchandiser

Hallmark US Springboard is seeking a skilled Part-Time Retail Merchandiser in Chelsea, MI. As the face of Hallmark, you will showcase your organization and time management skills to optimize product placement and maintain inventory levels in assigned retail stores. This role offers a unique opportunity to work independently, collaborate with local store teams, and support fellow team members with seasonal resets and installations.

Job Overview:
As a Retail Merchandiser, you will be responsible for:
  • Day-to-day engagement: Restock, organize, and monitor the inventory of Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department.
  • Holiday support: Provide additional days and extended hours during peak seasons, including holidays like Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day, Father's Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
  • Department Resets: Participate in installations, building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections.

Salaries and Shift Details:
In this Part-Time position, your starting pay will be between $14.00 - $14.25 per hour, depending on your shift and location. You can expect to work between 8 - 12 hours per week, with flexibility to adapt to changing business needs. Note that availability the week before and after major holidays may be required.

Physical Requirements:
This role demands a high level of energy and physical stamina. You must be able to consistently push, pull, lift, and carry cartons, merchandise, and display fixtures up to 30 pounds throughout the workday and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Regular walking, standing, and stooping are also required.

Basic Qualifications:
To succeed in this role, you must have:
  • Able to read, write, and understand English.
  • The ability to grasp, pull, lift, and carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Access to a Wi-Fi network and the internet.
  • Reliable transportation to report to assigned locations.
