Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Advanced Practice Pulmonary Clinician to join our team. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to patients with pulmonary conditions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough physical assessments and medical screenings of patients with pulmonary conditions.
- Diagnose and treat common respiratory illnesses, including asthma, bronchitis, and pneumonia.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, considering their medical history, current symptoms, and lifestyle factors.
- Prescribe medications and therapies, such as inhalers, antibiotics, and pulmonary rehabilitation programs.
- Educate patients and their families on the importance of proper disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
- Perform diagnostic procedures, such as spirometry, chest X-rays, and arterial blood gas analysis.
- Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Requirements
- 6 Months of Long Term Care Experience
- DEA License
- Nurse Practitioner License
- Experience in Pulmonology
Compensation and Benefits
The salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
