We are seeking a highly skilled Security Officer to join our team at a Pharmaceutical Company in Central Islip, Long Island.

Job Summary:

  • We offer a competitive salary of $17.00 - $18.00 per hour.
  • This is a full-time position with flexible morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts available.
  • Candidates should be able to work Monday to Sunday.
  • Daily pay is available for added convenience.

About the Role:

As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in safeguarding clients in various industries, including Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government, and more.

Responsibilities:

  1. You will provide exceptional customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when necessary.
  2. Respond promptly and professionally to incidents and critical situations.
  3. Conduct regular patrols around the business and perimeter, adapting to varying working environments and conditions.

Requirements:

  • You must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles or 21+ years old for armed roles.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience, is required.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will undergo a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
  • A drug screen may be administered as part of the hiring process.
  • Licensing requirements may apply, depending on state and/or local laws.
