Job Summary

Providence Health & Services is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Sonographer to join our team. As a Diagnostic Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing ultrasound examinations according to physicians' orders, utilizing a variety of sophisticated ultrasound equipment. You will take into account individual patient's special or age-related needs, providing high-quality care and ensuring accurate diagnoses.

Requirements
  • Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement
  • Board eligible for certification at American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography
  • Oregon Sonographer upon hire, Or Oregon Sonographer Temporary upon hire
  • National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography within 6 months (180 days) of hire
  • New graduates must be board eligible and obtain certification (ARDMS) within 6 months of hire upon hire
  • New graduates must have OBMI temporary license and obtain permanent license within 6 months of hire
Preferred Qualifications
  • 2 years Clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound
  • 2 years OBGYN sonography experience for 612-71875, 612-71877, 612-71878, 612-71882, 612-71883, 612-71884
