Quality Assurance Associate

As a Quality Assurance Associate at Food Lion, you will play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and inviting shopping environment for our customers. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that our store meets the highest standards of quality and safety.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including sweeping and cleaning floors, and cleaning and organizing the store mop room.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations, as well as Food Lion's policies and standard practices.
• Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards customers and colleagues alike.
• Participate in training programs to improve skills and knowledge, and to stay up-to-date with company guidelines and policies.
Requirements
• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems and to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.
Working Conditions
• Ability to work in extreme hot or cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes at a time.
• Ability to stand 100% of the time, frequently walking short distances.
• Ability to use computers and other communication systems required to perform job functions.
• Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm motions, bend and lift products weighing up to 15 lbs. continuously, 25 lbs. frequently, and 50 lbs. on occasion.
• Ability to tolerate working in extreme hot or cold temperatures for up to 20 minutes at a time.
