Job Description

At Olympus Group, we are seeking a highly skilled Financial Accountant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining financial records and ensuring that financial transactions are properly recorded.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the month-end close process, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statements.
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and annual reporting of key metrics or other financial/cost reporting as assigned.
  • Participate in the annual audit and tax compliance process by providing supporting documentation.
  • Assist in tracking, filing, and renewal of business licenses and census reporting.
  • Assist in inventory analysis and reconciliation of accounts.
  • Assist with sales and use tax systems and processes.
  • Maintain fixed asset records.
  • Participate in the annual external review process of fixed assets.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Advanced levels of Excel experience.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and meet deadlines/multi-task.
  • Understanding of an ERP (accounting) system.
  • Working knowledge of other Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint) applications.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
