Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Meat Assistant to join our team. As a Meat Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting in the receiving, storage, and stocking of meat and seafood products.

Main Responsibilities:

• Rotate and stock perishable products to ensure maximum freshness and quality.
• Packaging and wrapping various cuts, salads, and other products to meet customer demand.
• Learn about different cuts of beef and pork to provide expert advice to customers.
• Assist in grinding fresh burger meat and adhering to the 18-hour grind policy.
• Clean and maintain the cutting room and cooler area to ensure a safe and healthy working environment.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a meat department or related field is an asset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
