Senior Manager, Innovative Medicine Program Management Lead

Johnson & Johnson is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to lead the Innovative Medicine Program Management team as part of the Transcend program. This position will be based in the United States, with the possibility of occasional international travel.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement project plans, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of program milestones.
  • Lead daily and weekly team meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Partner with peers to ensure resources, timelines, and budget objectives are met for the program.
  • Drive the implementation of program methodology, including relevant templates, tools, and controls.
  • Leverage and scale existing assets and standard processes to achieve program goals.
  • Ensure program timeliness and financial health are appropriately handled, and lead one or more sub-phases of program delivery as needed.
  • Handle cross-program interdependencies, issues, and challenges by working with respective collaborators to implement controls, cadence, and risk mitigations.
  • Ensure cross-program workstreams (Testing, Cutover, Hypercare, etc.) are coordinated and performing per plan.
  • Drive standard methodologies, scale, leveragability, and resource optimization to achieve program objectives.
  • Work with the Business Cutover, Hypercare, and Business Test Leads to ensure system deployments are in line with Business testing, Compliance validation, and qualification protocols.
  • Enthusiastically promote standard methodology and continuous improvement principles across Functional system deployments.
  • Work across multiple teams to align on timelines, milestones, and results to enable overall release readiness.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree or equivalent degree is required.
  • Certification such as PMP / FPX, APICS, and/or Lean/Six Sigma /Process Excellence are preferred.
Experience and Skills:
  • Minimum 8 years of relevant work experience.
  • Proven experience and strong knowledge within Operations, Supply Chain, Commercial Operations, or large transformation programs.
  • Minimum 2 years of Program Management experience (preferably on large, sophisticated business transformation programs).
  • Hands-on project management/delivery experience, including experience leading projects, timelines, and organizational change.
  • Experience with Agile Methodology.
  • Experience leading/managing/developing people (direct or indirect reports).
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate to reach a desired result.
  • Strong communication to create clear and concise messaging to leadership and the ability to work well in teams, cross-functionally, and with all levels of the organization, as well as both internally and externally.
Preferred:
  • Experience in Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, or related industry.
  • Experience with JIRA or equivalent project management tools.
  • SAP or other major ERP implementation experience.

The compensation and benefits information set forth in this posting applies to candidates hired in the United States. Candidates hired outside the United States will be eligible for compensation and benefits in accordance with their local market. The anticipated base pay range for this position is $120,000 USD to $207,000 USD. The Company maintains highly competitive, performance-based compensation programs. Under current guidelines, this position is eligible for an annual performance bonus in accordance with the terms of the applicable plan. The annual performance bonus is a cash bonus intended to provide an incentive to achieve annual targeted results by rewarding for individual and the corporation's performance over a calendar/performance year. Bonuses are awarded at the Company's discretion on an individual basis. Employees and/or eligible dependents may be eligible to participate in the following Company sponsored employee benefit programs: medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short- and long-term disability, business accident insurance, and group legal insurance. Employees may be eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)). This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program. Employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:

  • Vacation - up to 120 hours per calendar year.
  • Sick time - up to 40 hours per calendar year.
  • Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays - up to 13 days per calendar year.
  • Work, Personal, and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year.
