Dedicated Patient Care Technician

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Patient Care Technician to join our team at Mount Carmel Health System.
Responsibilities- Provide exceptional patient care, assisting with daily activities such as bathing, grooming, and eating.
- Ensure patient rooms are stocked, cleaned, and organized, promoting a safe and comfortable environment.
- Accurately record vital signs, including height, weight, blood glucose levels, and intake/output measurements.
- Perform EKGs and phlebotomy tasks as delegated by registered nurses.
- Document patient data thoroughly and efficiently.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a healthcare-related field.
- Completion of EKG and phlebotomy courses, as well as initial clinical competency training upon hire.
- Maintenance of BLS healthcare provider certification.
- Previous patient care experience and/or technical education preferred.
- Competitive salary range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
