Responsibilities and Requirements- Administer medications and treatments with precision
- Maintain meticulous records of care provided
- Delegate daily duties to nursing assistants and hospitality aides
- Participate in care planning and evaluate the physical and psychological needs of residents
- Assist with admissions and discharges of residents
- Assist in the management of nursing assistants and hospitality aides
- Treat all information about residents, their condition, and family as confidential
Requirements include a current and valid LPN license in the state you will be providing care, as well as the ability to read, write, and understand English well. You'll also need to be able to stand, walk, stoop, twist, and turn frequently throughout the course of an eight-hour shift, and lift 30 pounds in assisting co-workers with resident lifts, transfers, etc.
