Prime Window Systems, a division of Cornerstone Building Brands, is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor for our facility located in Denver, CO.

About the Role

This supervisory position performs frontline leadership functions and is responsible for safety, corrective action, associate relations, housekeeping, and performance reviews of hourly associates. The ideal candidate will make recommendations to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the manufacture of building products to meet production demands while ensuring quality, safety, and productivity.
  • Develop and implement staffing guidelines to maximize human resources utilization while controlling manpower costs.
  • Maintain high leadership and supervisory skills, including developing and training teammates, evaluating their performance, and providing feedback.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, such as 5S and conversion cost reduction, COPQ reduction.
  • Provide technical leadership and training to shift personnel in areas like line setup/operation, testing, tooling, troubleshooting, machine metrics definition/reporting, changeover, safety procedures, record keeping, and training facilitation.
Requirements
  • Minimum three years of progressively responsible supervisory and leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience dealing with manufacturing is preferred.
  • Highly developed oral and written communication skills combined with the ability to educate and train operators and technicians in a production environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise, motivate, mentor, and train associates on a regular basis.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • A highly skilled and motivated individual proficient in all areas of production operations with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Lean and 5S principles.
  • Knowledge of work orders, schedules, and priorities and ability to carry out tasks.
  • Excellent attendance record.

The estimated salary for this full-time position is $77,500 - $82,000 + bonus + medical, dental, vision benefits starting day one + 401k and PTO. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
