AV Generalist Job Description

Marist College is seeking a highly skilled AV Generalist to join our team in the Media Center. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our audio-visual systems and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and troubleshoot audio-visual equipment in classrooms and production facilities
  • Provide technical support for events and productions
  • Collaborate with students and staff to resolve technical issues
  • Perform routine maintenance and upgrades on equipment
  • Develop and implement procedures for efficient equipment use and maintenance
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or Associates degree in a related field with at least 1 year of relevant experience or 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong technical skills and knowledge of audio-visual equipment
