The Maintenance Planner plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of production requirements by planning and scheduling preventative maintenance, predictive maintenance, and corrective maintenance repairs and process modifications.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing and developing weekly work schedules for routine and corrective/breakdown maintenance activities
- Coordinating maintenance activities between departments, outside contractors, and work groups to ensure safe and efficient job progression
- Planning and scheduling major maintenance and project work to promote timely and cost-effective completion
- Generating maintenance performance metrics as assigned
- Organizing and maintaining equipment history files, vendor literature, and other planning materials
The ideal candidate will possess strong planning, prioritizing, and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and manage competing deadlines and multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
Minimum of 5 years of mechanical or electrical industrial maintenance experience is required, with two years of experience in maintenance planning preferred.
Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) is a desirable credential, but not required.
Able to read, speak, and write English, with the ability to wear common protective equipment and regularly sit, stand, reach, and move about the facility.
