Job Overview

Maintenance and repair of Class 1-8 refrigerated vehicles requires a skilled technician with advanced knowledge in refrigeration systems.

We are seeking an experienced Refrigeration Technician to join our team at Miller Transportation Group, working out of our Brewster, NY location.

About the Job

This is a flexible position offering various scheduling options, including Monday-Friday shifts or 4 10-hour days.

  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience working on refrigeration units and hold a valid CDL (Class A or B) or be able to acquire one with our assistance.
Duties and Responsibilities

The successful candidate will perform general reconditioning of equipment, diagnose and document issues, and ensure all repairs meet warranty standards. Prior ThermoKing experience is highly beneficial.

A strong understanding of diesel tractors and the ability to work independently are essential for this role.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this opportunity, candidates must possess:

  • At least 3 years of experience working on refrigeration units
  • Valid CDL (Class A or B)
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work independently
  • Familiarity with Class 1-7 diesel tractors
  • A thorough understanding of refrigeration systems and equipment
Compensation and Benefits
