We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our dynamic team at the Avera Comprehensive Weight Management Clinic. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to the clinic's mission of providing supportive weight loss solutions.

About the Position:

  • This full-time Medical Assistant position is available for individuals who enjoy working in a multidisciplinary team environment and are committed to delivering outstanding patient care.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced setting, and possess a strong commitment to teamwork.
  • The selected candidate will be expected to perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks, including greeting patients, taking vital signs, preparing examination rooms, and assisting healthcare providers with patient exams and procedures.

Job Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or diploma preferred.
  • Six months to one year of experience in a medical setting, preferably as a Medical Assistant or in a related field.
  • National certification as a Certified Medical Assistant (CMA), Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), or Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through a recognized organization.
