Job Title: Qualified Professional Peer Support Team Lead - Wake County

Job Summary:

We are seeking a qualified professional peer support team lead to join our team in Wake County. As a team lead, you will be responsible for ensuring that peer services run smoothly, clients receive optimal care, and services provided are consistent with service definition.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative supervision and guidance to the Peer Support team by tracking and monitoring documentation for compliance
  • Provide interventions consistent with Peer Support service definition
  • Assist with service specific orientation of new staff
  • Assist with development of protocols, policies and procedures as it relates to the development of the Peer Support Program
  • Establish relationships with a comprehensive, targeted list of providers and other relevant community organizations

Qualifications:

  • Qualified Professional status
  • Current NC Peer Support Specialist Certification (SouthLight can provide scholarship to cover the cost of Peer training class if not already certified)
  • Completion of 3 hours UNC Peer Support Supervisor Training (will be provided upon hire)
