About the Role:
The Licensed Practical Nurse provides direct and indirect patient care services requiring technical and manual skills, within the scope of practice, that meet the psychosocial, physical and general aspects of care, and meets the communication needs of the patient and family; Performs under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
Responsibilities:
- Provides direct patient care services, including administering medications, performing treatments, and providing emotional support to patients and families.
- Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Monitors patient progress, identifies potential complications, and takes appropriate action to prevent or mitigate adverse outcomes.
Requirements:
- Current and valid state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
- Minimum one year experience in an applicable setting preferred.
