Caregiver for Individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

As a Direct Support Professional, you will join a mission-driven team and create relationships that motivate us all every day.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide assistance and strategies to individuals to live as independently as possible
- Transportation and support out in the community, including outings, field trips, medical appointments, and shopping
- Assist with daily living skills, including meal preparation and medication administration
- Support individuals with living skills, such as personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing
- Provide guidance on developmental goals, including community participation, household budgeting, exercise, nutrition, and vocational responsibilities
Requirements:
- Must currently have a valid driver's license and have been legally authorized to drive without restriction for at least 1 year post-learner's permit
- Must be minimum of 18 years of age
- Six months of experience in human services preferred
- Valid driver's license in good standing
- Successful clearance of background checks
- A reliable, responsible attitude
