Job Overview

Epic Government seeks a skilled Patient Appointing Service Clerk to support our mission of providing exceptional healthcare services to military service members, retirees, and their families.

This role plays a vital part in ensuring timely access to medical appointments at our Puget Sound Military Appointing Center. As a key member of our team, you will handle inbound and outbound calls, verify beneficiary eligibility, schedule appointments, and provide exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule, reschedule, and cancel appointments for beneficiaries while adhering to Department of Defense policies and procedures.
  • Verify beneficiary eligibility and validate demographic information through the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS).
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for beneficiaries, responding to their inquiries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Collaborate with clinic staff to ensure seamless coordination of appointments and resolve any scheduling issues that may arise.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior experience in a similar role preferred.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills essential.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple calls simultaneously.
  • Familiarity with software applications, including Microsoft Office, is a plus.
