Catering Server Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Catering Server to join our team at McMenamins. As a Catering Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a memorable experience for our guests at private events and public gatherings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up, run, and break down events with ease, handling everything from small business meetings to large groups with full meals.
  • Provide top-notch service, including setting tables, chairs, bars, and AV equipment, serving food and beverages, and attending to customer needs.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless event execution and maintain a positive, professional atmosphere.
  • Stay organized and manage multiple tasks simultaneously, including resetting event spaces, restocking supplies, and washing dishes.
Requirements:
  • Ability to obtain and maintain current food handlers and OLCC/WA liquor license.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, work in a hot kitchen environment, and perform repetitive tasks.
