Job SummaryThis is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Patient Care Technician - Pediatrics. As a member of our rehabilitation services team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the delivery of our mission.
Responsibilities- Patient Transportation: Safely transport patients to, from, and within the department as needed, utilizing wheelchairs, beds, and other equipment.
- Assisting Therapists: Assist therapists and assistants with patient treatments, preparing patients, equipment, and treatment areas as directed.
- Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain a clean and organized environment, disinfecting mats, toys, and equipment between and after patient treatments, and ensuring adequate linen stock.
- Clerical Tasks: Perform various clerical assignments, including copying, making phone calls, and completing documentation as requested by therapists or management.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent;
- Active CPR certification;
- Completion of job-specific training;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Physical stamina to perform duties that require standing, walking, and lifting.

The estimated salary for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
