Job Summary

The Staff RN - OR is a critical member of our healthcare team, responsible for delivering high-quality patient care in the operating room environment. As a skilled nurse, you will assess patient needs, develop and implement individualized care plans, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient transitions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate and reassess patient assessments to identify priority needs and develop effective care plans.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families to promote optimal health outcomes.
  • Document patient care and related information according to Bryan Medical Center procedures.
  • Supervise support staff in the delivery of patient care, ensuring adherence to Nebraska Statute and Bryan Medical Center policies.
Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse licensure from the State of Nebraska or approved compact state of residence.
  • Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.
  • Must provide evidence of certification and/or instruction for practice area as required by State or Federal standards/regulations.
