About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team in the Department of Public Health. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the dental team in delivering exceptional services.
Responsibilities
- Assist dentists and hygienists in providing patient care, including preparing patients for exams and procedures.
- Take and develop dental X-rays, as well as maintain accurate records of patient information.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments, ensuring a clean and safe environment for patients.
- Provide administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient records.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and prior experience in a dental setting is preferred.
