Cloud Database Architect

Job Summary:

In Time Tec, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Database Architect to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with extensive experience in designing, developing, and optimizing databases.

About the Role:

This Senior Database Administrator position requires a minimum of 7 years of experience in Microsoft SQL Server and cloud-based technologies. The successful candidate will have advanced database development expertise, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure Managed Instances.

The Key Responsibilities of this Role:

• Design, Develop, and Optimize Databases
• Build and maintain ETL processes with SSIS and Azure Data Factory
• Conduct performance tuning and query optimization using Performance Monitor, SQL Profiler, and other related monitoring and troubleshooting tools
• Develops, orchestrates, and leads database migration strategy to the cloud (Azure)
• Craft complex packages, stored procedures, functions, tables, views, triggers, indexes, constraints, etc.
• Collaborate on database architecture for both on-premises and cloud solutions
• Support database operations, including backup and disaster recovery strategies for Azure and on-premises SQL environments
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for database configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides
• Provide reporting support with analytics tools like Power BI

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• 7+ years of SQL Server and Azure database experience
• Advanced T-SQL and query optimization
• Experience with Azure Data Factory, Cosmos DB, Azure SQL, and Azure SQL Managed Instances
• Experience in Power BI, DevOps practices, and high availability solutions

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 per year
