Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at Kustom US Inc in Seattle, Washington. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for performing advanced techniques in various areas of construction trades, responding to emergency and non-emergency service jobs.

• Proficiency in light carpentry, framing, drywall, paint, trim, and all aspects of repair common with handyman work.
• Prepare rooms/areas for work activities, including setting up staging areas, equipment, and content protection.
• Ability to provide direction to subcontractors.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas, including securely storing equipment and supplies while not in use.
• Interface with customers and relay information to Project Manager or Superintendent when appropriate.
• Complete paperwork, upload documents, and provide job updates into the database as needed.
• Complete punch list items with attention to detail.
• Maintain equipment in clean and working condition.
• Ensure the company vehicle is fully stocked at all times and travel to a nearby home improvement store to purchase needed items.
• Monitor the safety, security, efficiency, and appearance of the company vehicle.
• Monitor the safety, security, and appearance of job sites.
• Assist with demolition and general cleanup as needed.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in construction and/or restoration.
• Hands-on experience in drywall, paint, trim, and light carpentry.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Understanding of major trades processes (mechanical, electrical, plumbing).
• Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness.
• Willingness to be flexible based on business needs.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of the correct and safe operation of all related tools and equipment.
• Proficient use of computer technology.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build relationships.
