Virginia Mason Franciscan Health is seeking a full-time Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team at St. Michael Medical Center in Kitsap County. As a member of our team, you will be part of a high-energy, hardworking, and tight-knit group that creates a supportive and fun work environment.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Orthopedic Surgery, with a focus on General Orthopedics and Total Joints. You will be joining a well-respected team of 6 Orthopedic Surgeons and 7 Advanced Practice Providers, with a strong commitment to delivering high-quality care and exceptional patient experience.
Responsibilities will include building an elective general orthopedics and total joints practice, as well as managing community trauma. You will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility with a dedicated Orthopedic Center and ORs within a brand new regional Level 3 community hospital.
We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, including a 4 or 5-day work week, with an average of 4-5 calls per month. You will also have access to excellent APPs, dedicated MA and RN support, and a stipend for call.
Our community is a great place to live and work, with plenty of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, kayaking, and whale watching. Seattle is just a ferry ride away, offering a wide range of cultural and entertainment options.
Qualifications include Board Certification or Board Eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery, with a strong preference for fellowship training or career experience in Total Joints. You will also need an unrestricted WA State Medical License and a current WA DEA certificate.
