Physician Leader for Independent Medical Evaluations

MRG Exams, a premier provider of independent medical examinations, seeks a dedicated Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician to conduct thorough, objective medical assessments for United States Veterans.
Job Responsibilities- We require the physician to review veterans' medical records through a secure online portal and conduct comprehensive evaluations to document current health conditions.
- The ideal candidate will complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) based on VA-provided templates, capturing all relevant medical findings within 24 hours of the assessment.
- This role is focused exclusively on independent medical assessments, without treatment responsibilities. The physician will assess up to four veterans daily.
Schedule: Regular travel throughout WI, MN, IA, ND, SD, NE, KS, OK, TX, WY, CO
Ideal Candidate Profile- A motivated professional with expertise in analyzing and synthesizing data from comprehensive medical records and physical assessments.
- Strong typing skills and attention to detail are essential for this position.
- Candidates should be comfortable with digital documentation and record review.
- Dedication to serving veterans and making a positive impact in their lives is highly valued.
- An active MD or DO license with a specialization in PM&R.
- Board certification in Neurological Surgery, PM&R, or Psychiatry and Neurology is preferred. Completion of a two-year residency in a relevant specialty is also considered.
As a key member of our team, you will contribute to timely and accurate disability evaluations by delivering high-quality medical assessments. We offer an estimated annual salary of $120,000 - $180,000 based on location and experience.
