Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Cardiovascular Technologist to join their team in Lombard, Illinois.

Job Summary

This is a full-time position that requires a strong background in cardiac catheterization and diagnostic imaging. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting and be proficient in PTCA and EPS procedures.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing professional, highly technical nursing care to all cardiovascular patients, while assisting physicians during all cardiovascular procedures. They will also be expected to maintain complete documentation of cardiovascular procedures, participate in in-services and continuing education, and assist with new staff orientation within the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians during cardiovascular procedures
  • Provide professional, highly technical nursing care to all cardiovascular patients
  • Maintain complete documentation of cardiovascular procedures
  • Participate in in-services and continuing education
  • Assist with new staff orientation within the department
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a cardiac cath lab setting
  • Proficient in PTCA and EPS procedures
  • AAS in RTR or equivalent
  • Current License in the state of IL as a RT
  • ACLS and RCIS certification within two years of employment
