We are seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to join our team of early childhood educators at Guidepost Montessori. As an Assistant Teacher, you will play a vital role in fostering a nurturing environment that supports the growth and development of children from 0 to 6 years old.

Guidepost Montessori is a leading network of over 100 Montessori schools worldwide, serving children from 3 months to 12th grade. Our mission is to empower children to reach their full potential by providing a holistic education that caters to each child's unique needs and interests.

Your Role:

As an Assistant Teacher, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Caring for Infants: Providing a safe and stimulating environment that encourages physical, emotional, and cognitive development in infants aged 3 months to 18 months.
  • Preparing Lesson Plans: Collaborating with colleagues to develop personalized lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs and abilities of each child.
  • Building Relationships: Establishing strong bonds with children, parents, and colleagues to create a supportive community that promotes mutual respect and trust.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you should possess:

  • At least 6 Early Childhood Education (ECE) credits from recognized courses, including Child/Human Growth & Development, Child, Family & Community, Program/Curriculum, and Infant Care & Development.
  • Experience working with children aged 0-6 years old.
