Penn State Health is seeking a highly skilled Electroencephalographic Technologist to join our team on a per diem basis. As an EEG Technologist, you will be responsible for performing testing to measure and record the electrical activity of the brain, interpreting data, and assisting in the diagnosis and monitoring of patients with neurological disorders.
Responsibilities- Perform EEG testing to measure and record the electrical activity of the brain
- Interpret EEG data to assist in the diagnosis and monitoring of patients with neurological disorders
- Collaborate with neurologists and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care
- Develop and implement plans for patient care, including treatment and follow-up
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in neurodiagnostic technology and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Completion of Neurodiagnostic Tech program required within six months of hire
- Minimum one (1) year prior experience preferred
- Registration in EEG and/or Evoked Potential by ABRET preferred
