Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team. As a CNA at Bethesda Health, you will provide essential patient care support under the supervision of a Charge Nurse, focusing on hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, and safety. You will document patient interactions and vital signs accurately, ensuring compliance with established standards. This role requires excellent communication skills, coordination, and the ability to work effectively within a team to enhance the quality of care for our residents.

Key Responsibilities- Provide patient care related support, including services relative to hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety as directed by Charge Nurse per established departmental guidelines.
- Document appropriately into patient record charting based on skill level and follows established standards and guidelines.
- Complete rounds as assigned and throughout course of duty, turning and repositioning residents every 2 hours, and repositioning seated residents every hour.
- Take vital signs and weights accurately and report to Charge Nurse promptly and accurately.
- Ensure that proper slings, splints, braces, positions devices, specialty care items, etc. are applied according to physician or therapy orders.
- Maintain appropriate supplies and equipment on the unit and alert Charge Nurse or purchasing clerk of additional needs.
- High school diploma preferred, but not required.
- Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification in the state you will be working.
- CPR certification required, or willing to obtain within six months of employment.
- Long-term care experience preferred.
- Excellent communication skills to interact verbally with patients, visitors, and staff.
- Ability to manage time and organize daily schedule to meet productivity standards.
- $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience.
