We are looking for a highly skilled Java Backend Developer to join our team at The Brixton Group. The successful candidate will have a background in designing and developing low latency systems using Java, Microservices, and Spring Boot.

Requirements

  1. At least 8 years of software engineering experience using Java, Microservices, and Spring Boot.
  2. Background in designing and developing low latency systems.
  3. Knowledge of WebSocket and FIX protocols.
  4. Proficient in ultra-low latency design patterns and optimizing systems.
  5. Proficient in SQL and a working knowledge of relational and time series databases.
  6. Experience designing APIs, distributed systems, asynchronous workers, and resilient messaging services.
  7. Retirement or insurance background is a must.
