Medical Imaging Specialist for Atlanta

We are seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Specialist to join our team in Atlanta, GA. As a Nuclear Medicine Technologist, you will play a crucial role in preparing and administering radiopharmaceuticals and medications to patients.
About the RoleThis is a travel assignment with MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing, one of the leading healthcare staffing agencies in the country. The ideal candidate will have at least 18 months of experience in Nuclear Medicine Technology, preferably in a critical care setting. A graduate degree from an AMA-approved school and registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology are also required.
Key Responsibilities- Administer radiopharmaceuticals and medications for patient imaging and therapeutic procedures
- Process data and enhance digital images using advanced computer technology
- Provide images, data analysis, and patient information for diagnostic interpretation or therapeutic procedures
- Evaluate images to determine technical quality and calibration of instrumentation
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local technical and professional regulations and accepted practice guidelines
