We are seeking an experienced Mobility Therapist to join our team at Travel Nurse Across America. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work as a Physical Therapist (PT) in Hyannis, Massachusetts. Our client facility is seeking a skilled PT to provide exceptional patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting.
Job Description and Requirements- Specialty: Physical Therapy

- Hours per week: 40
A successful candidate should have a strong foundation in physical therapy, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will be able to stand and walk for extended periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty, and possess a sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating, developing, and executing plans of care for various patient populations. Key responsibilities include:
- Overseeing supervising Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs), supporting staff (therapy technicians)
- Billing within the respective setting, following guidelines within settings for facilities
- Complying with respective Physical Therapy Board's rules and regulations, in accordance with state requirements
- Interfacing with Medical Center personnel and physicians to ensure a collaborative plan of care
- Evaluating and creating plans of care
- Modifying plans of care as necessary based on patient condition
- Utilizing Medical Center computer systems in daily tasks
- Providing timely and accurate documentation, adhering to state and/or insurance guidelines
