Speech-Language Pathology Clinical Fellow Opportunity

YES Prep Public Schools is seeking a dynamic Clinical Fellow Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Clinical Fellow, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse set of experiences and make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Administer, score, and interpret formal and informal speech and language assessment tools to determine initial and continued eligibility for speech therapy services.
  • Participate in annual, triennial, and initial IEP meetings for students identified as having a speech impairment.
  • Provide direct and indirect services to students with a speech impairment, developing activities that are evidence-based and tailored to student needs.
  • Collaborate with family and staff to communicate speech therapy procedures, progress, and opportunities for generalization beyond the therapy setting.
  • Consistently document student performance through session notes and quarterly progress reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution.
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
  • Currently pursuing Certification of Clinical Competence as part of Clinical Fellowship through the American Speech Language and Hearing Association (ASHA) Certification, and licensure within Texas (TDLR) as a Speech-Language Pathology Intern.
  • Compliance with local, state, and federal regulations relating to the provision of services to students with speech impairments.
