Job Summary:

Restaurant Depot is a wholesale cash-and-carry foodservice distributor seeking a skilled Warehouse Stocker - Meat to join our team. As a key member of our warehouse staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, stocking product on shelves, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provides prompt, courteous, and friendly customer service to internal and external customers

• Removes boxes from pallets and places them on shelves, as well as opens boxes and removes single items to re-stock shelves

• Organizes and front-faces items on shelves to ensure a visually appealing store environment

• Performs regular inspections to meet HACCP regulations and ensures compliance with all food safety standards

• Assists in the review of inventory for product rotation daily to prevent shrinkage and damages

• Ensures that shelf pricing is correct and reflects the most recent pricing

• Maintains a clean and safe work environment by following a regular maintenance schedule of scrubbing and pulling out pallets and cleaning underneath

• Continuously reviews the status of department floors for safety hazards and promptly and safely handles any spills and removes any trash

Requirements:

• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment with frequent exposure to cold/freezing temperatures

• Ability to frequently push/pull objects 500 to 1,500 lbs. and lift/carry objects more than 60 lbs.

• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors
